Parsonage On The Green ( Lee )
Nestled in the pines this 1851 colonial is a gem featuring ten foot ceilings, original center hall staircase with carvings, original wooden floors throughout. Rooms are beautifully appointed with meaningful family treasures spanning generations. The hosts with their warmth, friendliness, and personal touches create an atmosphere of serenity enabling guests to feel as if they were with family. One guest wrote "the Parsonage is a little piece of heaven for us". Guests read in front of the fireplace, sip tea on the veranda in the summer, eat a full breakfast by candlelight on an elegantly set table. Half-block to Main Street which looks like a model for a Norman Rockwell creation.
Our guests have two common areas -- a large parlor with fireplace and piano (1900) that has a beautiful tone and a library with television, books and games. Our guest bedrooms all have fresh flowers, bathrobes, reading materials and plenty of lights for reading in bed, hand-dipped chocolates from Catherine's Chocolates, and china mugs for early morning coffee/tea served in the upstairs hall. In the evening the beds are turned down for the guests. This is a bed and breakfast that pampers their guests.
